Nadji: Significant Improvement in Office Attendance, ‘Diamond in the Rough’ for Investors

Hessam Nadji, CEO and President of Marcus and Millichap (MMI), discusses the real estate sector and the Fed’s latest “miss.” He argues the Fed is creating headwinds by not acknowledging how much the economy is slowing down. He says when the Fed hiked rates, it was historically difficult for real estate prices to adjust. However, it is starting to recover, even on the office side which was hit hard by Covid. He calls office real estate a potential ‘diamond in the rough’ for investors as attendance ticks higher.
