‘No Catalyst Higher’ for Bitcoin, Opportunities in Gold

Scott Bauer thinks that gold traders are “liquidating profits,” and sees an opportunity to buy during this pullback. He also sees a buying opportunity in bitcoin, arguing that it has a similar narrative to gold during this downturn. However, he says there’s no catalyst higher for the cryptocurrency. He also looks at crude oil levels, which he thinks should be trading in the mid-$60s. Overall, he considers the markets to be in a “sell the rip” scenario until volatility subsides.
