Purves: ‘Very Good Buying Opportunity’ in SPX at $4K

Michael Purves thinks we can see an earnings squeeze but avoid a recession. He sees a “very good buying opportunity” at $4K on the SPX. However, he’s “lightening up” during rallies, looking at T-bills and gold for defense. He’s also looking to Europe, particularly industrials. “I don’t think we’ve really felt market pain yet, but it’s coming,” he concludes.
