Short-Duration Bonds & Excluded Securities Gain Traction

Karen Veraa-Perry says the bond market could continue to be a hedge against equities volatility. She also sees demand for municipal bonds, however she cautions against getting too comfortable in the long end of the yield curve. Instead, she looks at a more defensive approach, focusing on shorter-duration bonds and "excluded securities."
