Software as a Defensive Sector, IPO Market Potential

“The software space is highly defensive” in the enterprise area, Marcus Bodet says. He thinks valuations in that area are still “depressed,” creating opportunities for investors. He thinks that enterprise can continue to adopt AI to boost its value and offerings. Software, Marcus points out, is also more resistant to tariffs. Turning to rates, he thinks Powell “has to” cut rates 2 of the next 3 meetings this year. He also discusses the IPO space and when cash might start moving off the sidelines into the market.
