‘Something’s Very Wrong’ with American Airlines (AAL)

Tom Essaye and Michael Boyd talk airline earnings. “Something’s very wrong” with American Airlines, says Michael as the stock sinks post-earnings, especially when it comes to their future plans. He compares AAL unfavorably to Delta Airlines (DAL) and United Airlines (UAL). Tom is also disappointed with Southwest Airlines (LUV) but notes that the whole sector is cautioning investors about demand. “They’re having to cut price to get people to move,” he adds.
