SPX Breadth "Not Terrible," Consumer "Not Falling Off a Cliff"

Today painted a mixed Big Picture for the market. Charles Shwab's Kevin Gordon notes market breadth is holding short-term despite a majority of stocks lagging today. He also notes growth slowdown, though strong fundamentals in earnings will support stocks long-term. Joe Mazzola points to a slight pullback in the consumer but believes there's no reason to ring alarms yet.
