Stock Market Today: Fed Rate Unchanged, A.I. Rally, GOOGL Plummets, DIS Soars

Today's session on Wall Street ended with indices closing higher. The Fed led headlines but ultimately voted to leave interest rates unchanged. Markets got a bump near the end of the session thanks to a report of President Trump easing Biden-era chip curbs. Alphabet (GOOGL) closed down more than 7% after Apple (AAPL) hinted toward a new move into A.I., while Walt Disney (DIS) soared almost 11% on its earnings.
