Stock Market Today: Solar Sells Off, SNOW Rallies, WDAY Slides

The VIX was lower by the end of the trading day but indices closed mixed after stumbling from session highs. Solar stocks like First Solar (FSLR), Enphase Energy (ENPH) and Sunrun (RUN) were among the biggest laggards after the U.S. House passed its latest tax bill. Workday (WDAY) sold off after hours with its latest earnings, even though peers like Snowflake (SNOW) rallied.
