Stock Market Today: Trump v. Musk, China EV Sales Accelerate, AAPL Continues Rally

The SPX and NDX stalled their all-time high runs as most mega caps struggled to rally on the session. Tesla (TSLA) was the biggest laggard of the Mag 7 after CEO Elon Musk openly criticized President Trump's "big, beautiful bill." China EV companies like BYD Co. (BYDDY), XPeng (XPEV) and NIO Inc. (NIO) all posted strong vehicle sales that add pressure against Tesla. Apple (AAPL) shined in the Mag 7 as Monday's optimism continues.
