Tariffs Driving TSLA Outlook: Earnings, Margins & Model Y

Lower year-over-year profits is something Morningstar's Seth Goldstein expects to see in Tesla's (TSLA) earnings after Tuesday's closing bell. Tariffs can lead to higher unit production costs and pinch margins. As for reported delays in Tesla's more affordable Model Y, Seth believes it's critical the company offer clarity on a production timeline to regain consumer confidence.
