Tough Year for TTD: "Superior" Tech, Wrong Advertising Ecosystem

The Trade Desk (TTD) has sold off close to 60% so far in 2025. LikeFolio's Andy Swan says the stock should "absolutely be thriving." So what's wrong? Andy believes the company's "superior" tech isn't being used in the right places, arguing that "closed systems" are nabbing many advertisers The Trade Desk normally profits from. Andy expects Big Tech companies like Alphabet (GOOGL), Meta Platforms (META), and Netflix (NFLX) will continue to eat market share unless The Trade Desk can change course.
