226: Love, Lies, and Murder: A Valentine’s Day Turned Deadly

In place of our regularly schedule Headline Highlights episode, I have decided to give you all a mini case deep dive.

Richard Schoeck thought he was meeting his wife for a romantic Valentine’s Day gift exchange at a secluded park, but instead, he was ambushed and shot five times, including twice in the face. Investigators quickly uncovered a web of secrets, including an affair and mysterious tire tracks at the scene that hinted someone had been lying in wait. But as the clues unraveled, they revealed a shocking betrayal that no one saw coming.
