72. How God Relates to His People

How does God relate to His people? In this episode, Bev and Delaney explain how Creator God relates to His creation through covenants. Scripture has many covenants, and understanding these covenants gives us insight into who God is and how we are able to be in relationship with Him. Maybe you’ve wondered “what is a covenant?” It’s one of those words we hear repeated throughout Scripture, but we often miss the heavy implications of covenant theology. Today they will explain: first, the overall structure and definition of a covenant; second, give a brief overview of the 7 covenants found in Scripture; third, answer some FAQ’s about covenants and; fourth, explain how covenants point us to the gospel.
