In the dead of the night, German spy Von Bork is waiting for his American informant Altamont to bring him a dossier of British state secrets -- the final piece of intelligence he needs before leaving England to return to Germany. When Altamont arrives with the promised British naval codes, it seems like Von Bork's mission is complete. But there's more here than meets the eye. Sherlock Holmes, ever loyal to his country, has some tricks up his sleeve to stop the German spymaster from leaving with the precious knowledge.
