As McMurdo gets even more entangled with the Freemen, he receives a warning about their true murderous nature. Soon after, he's taken in by the police in connection with a crime. McMurdo and his fellow Freemen get off with a mere slap on the wrist, and are once again set free - the Freemen are seemingly untouchable in Vermissa. But how long can it last?
