Gonna Worship You No Matter What I'm Going Through

**Lyrics Below.** “Gonna Worship You No Matter What I’m Going Through” is a catchy rootsy blues song I write built around a recurring guitar-and-vocal motif, with the voice singing “doo” in exact unison with the guitar line. Written about years ago, the song carries a simple declaration of faith through every circumstance—choosing to worship, look to God, and praise Him no matter what life brings. Blues guitar, Hammond B3, piano, and the recurring vocal/guitar riff give the song its earthy, soulful character. **[Verse 1]** I'm gonna worship You No matter what I'm going through I'm gonna worship You No matter what I'm going through **[Chorus]** 'Cause You alone are holy You alone, my God, are true You alone are holy You alone, my God, are true **[Vocal/Guitar Motif]** *“Doo” vocal follows the guitar riff note-for-note in unison* **[Verse 2]** I'm gonna look to You No matter what I'm going through I'm gonna look to You No matter what I'm going through **[Chorus]** 'Cause You alone are holy You alone, my God, are true You alone are holy You alone, my God, are true **[Vocal/Guitar Motif]** **[Instrumental Break]** *Variations on the motif with ES-335 guitar, Hammond B3 organ and piano* **[Verse 3]** I'm gonna praise You (Lord) No matter what I'm going through I'm gonna praise You No matter what I'm going through **[Chorus]** 'Cause You alone are holy You alone, my God, are true You alone are holy You alone, my God, are true **[Vocal/Guitar Motif]** **[Verse 4]** I'm gonna praise Your Name (Jesus) And I'll never be the same I'm gonna praise Your Name (Jesus) And I'll never be the same **[Chorus]** 'Cause You alone are holy You alone, my God, are true You alone are holy You alone, my God, are true **[Vocal/Guitar Motif]** I'm gonna praise Your Name (Jesus) And I'll never be the same I'm gonna praise Your Name (Jesus) And I'll never be the same I'm gonna worship You (Jesus) No matter what I'm going through (O My Lord!)
