Lord, I Put My Life Into Your Hands

Lyrics Below. “My Life Is in Your Hands” I wrote this for my daughter. It is a reflective song about trusting the Lord through hardship, uncertainty, and the long journey ahead. The lyrics move through images of a river, mountains, valleys, trials, and refining gold, expressing confidence that God remains near, guides by His Spirit, gives strength in weakness, and faithfully leads His people toward the Promised Land. [Verse 1] I'm going down to the river And I know that I will see You again I see the mountains up ahead and I'm going there to You, oh to You [Pre-Chorus] I know that You are always with me Your Spirit is my Guide You said You'd never leave or forsake me Lord, You're always there by my side [Chorus] Lord, I put my life into Your hands Help me, help me, help me make a stand Lord, I put my life into Your hands Everything I need, Lord, I find only in You Only in You [Verse 2] I carry this heavy burden Lord, sometimes I feel I cannot go on I know Your rod and staff, they comfort me In this valley, Lord, please make me strong [Verse 3] In my trials and tribulations You are my Comforter, You understand Purifying of precious gold, my Lord Will bring me into the Promised Land
