“The weight of performing clinical trials cannot fall on the shoulders of brands that are not receiving millions of dollars of funding from sources such as the NIH or other research regulating agencies. There is a huge disconnect between consumer understanding of the details that go into running a true clinical trial vs what we consider to be “clinically significant “ data backing a brand’s claims.
