It's the infamous American movie that enraged Godzilla fans and the movie industry alike, featuring a fish-eating pregnant iguana conceived as a sexy pin-up... the one and only Zilla! We take a deep dive into the filmography of Roland Emmerich -- master of disaster (and so far the only openly queer person to ever direct a Godzilla movie, sorry!) -- to determine that, if this isn't a good Godzilla movie, is it at least a good Emmerich movie? And of course, we talk Godzilla as an accidental trans ace icon, why Maria Pitillo deserved better (and Matthew Broderick deserved worse), The Simpsons connections, bad comedy, unsung practical effects heroes, and much more!
