Myles Lewis-Skelley once again impressed and Jamie Carragher described the teenager as a ‘superstar’, saying his arrogance is similar to Jude Bellingham and Wayne Rooney’s. Thierry Henry and Carragher were also critical of Erling Haaland's performance, after the Norwegian striker struggled to get involved with the game, despite scoring against the Gunners.
