Nevada is a state in the United States of America. It is in the western part of the country. Nevada is next to California, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and Arizona. It does not touch the ocean, but it has many mountains, lakes, and deserts.

The capital city of Nevada is Carson City. But the biggest city is Las Vegas. Another big city is Reno.
