A struggling couple, Tim and Millie, attempt to save their decaying ten-year relationship by moving to a remote cabin, only to fall into a mysterious sinkhole containing "magic" water. As they begin to physically fuse together in a grotesque biological process, they must confront their deep-seated codependency and a local cult that believes human beings are merely halves waiting to be made whole.
