E42: DARK CITY

Ana and Dan take the world's nastiest-looking syringes and inject themselves with this 1998 film that some people -- NOT US, BUT SOME PEOPLE - claim is the earlier, superior "we're living in a simulation" film to The Matrix. Ana and Dan had many questions, such as: why would aliens afraid of water choose to come to Earth? And why is it always nighttime beyond the logic of film noir? Also, we talk Ted Lasso. Shockingly, there is no IR in this film, but there's a lot of bad social science!
