Learn the English phrasal verb bring up through “My parents brought me up in a house full of pets.” Brought me up describes upbringing, while my identifies whose parents are being discussed. Parents, pets and the home give the vocabulary a family context. The short sentence brings the phrasal verb and possessive form together.
