You've been away too long. But, now you've come home, to Dead Air! A podcast unmolested by time. Today we continue our Stephen Kingapalooza with the 1979 TV movie, Salem's Lot! Ben Mears is a successful writer that has returned to his hometown of Salem's Lot after many years. All to write about a supposedly evil Marsten house that has loomed large in the town since as long as anyone can remember. This house has recently become home to a Vampire named Barlow that unleashes his hunger and plague of vampirism throughout the town. As citizens are slowly turned it's up to Ben and a few survivors to take out Barlow and flee the town. Unless they want to end up one of the many ghouls that now inhabit, Salem's Lot.
