A man of high integrity and exceptional competence, Mr Swaminathan Gurumurthy is among India’s most respected Chartered Accountants. He is also an acclaimed investigative journalist, social activist, writer, and powerful orator.

Mr Gurumurthy has been featured multiple times in India Today magazine’s rankings of India’s most powerful and influential personalities. His influence stems from a combination of character, intellectual ability, conviction, and courage.

A strong proponent of traditional Indian economic thought and civilisational wisdom, Mr Gurumurthy is the co-convenor of the Swadeshi Jagran Manch, an organisation that seeks to promote awareness of India’s indigenous traditions, philosophy, and values. He is also the editor of the Tamil political weekly Thuglak. Additionally, he serves as a part-time director on the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India.

In 2014, Mr Gurumurthy was invited as the guest speaker for Aradhana Day at Prasanthi Nilayam. Following his address in Sai Kulwant Hall, he graciously visited the Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre, where he shared profound insights into India’s civilisational strength and cultural power. He also reflected on his association with Bhagawan and the enduring impact of His mission and message.
