Luke Uses Sith Lightning on Vader in Empire Strikes Back Original Script

in the early scripts for The Empire Strikes back, as noted in 'the making of The Empire Strikes Back" book, we get Luke Skywalker fighting Darth Vader as he's using force lightning. The idea was eventually scrapped of course, but it's interesting to learn of George Lucas' thought process behind giving Luke this power against his father.

The Emperor remains to this day, to have some of the most powerful sith force lightning in existence.
