In the Kenobi novel, Ben is what Satine used to called Obi-Wan in the Clone Wars, as a sort of endearing name. This is why he chose the name Ben while watching over Luke Skywalker on Tatooine. How cute. This is legends, but it was in the Kenobi novel which was released in 2012 I believe. It could be turned into canon if the show decides to use it, but if not, no worries.
