I also believe, beyond the story to be told, that it will put an end to those outlets pushing that anyone who dislikes a Star Wars project is because of sexism, when it's really just about poorly written characters like Rey or those in The Acolyte. It's time to tell stories of well written characters, and the funny thing is, it's already all there in legends for Disney to use.
