Qui-Gon Kills Maul's Probe Droid Deleted Scene Breakdown

In this deleted scene from Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, we get to see Qui-Gon Jinn and Anakin Skywalker's journey as they headed back outside of Mos Espa (where Anakin and Shmi lived) to get to the ship with Obi-Wan and Padme. It was during this walk back just moments after Anakin said goodbye to his mother, that they were being followed by Darth Maul's probe droid the DRK-1 (Dark Eye Probe Droid) in which Qui-Gon's Jedi reflexes sensed it and struck it down with his green lightsaber. Moments later we would see Darth Maul vs Qui-Gon Jinn and the infamous "Anakin! Drop!" line.
