This force power is something widely seen in Star Wars, especially the prequels (Phatnom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith) where Obi-Wan often checks the vitals of those he cares for, to either bring them back or heal them. I love this power, it's so positive and very iconic to Obi-Wan Kenobi's abilities and character.
