While Gareth was off making Godzilla, Vertigo Films decided they needed a sequel to Monsters, so they brought on Tom Green to helm the follow-up. What Green came out with was a war movie that happened to have monsters in it. But does this film compare favorably to other giants of the genre like The Hurt Locker and Saving Private Ryan?
