The other animals were very curious and they were delighted to join him.

Quinn was a quick quail who lived in a busy meadow. She had a very fast walk and she loved to explore. She was always curious about the world, but she also loved quiet time. Quinn had a special dream: to find a place of peace, where she could hear the softest sounds in the world. She felt she needed to take a quiet quest to find that special place.

Where the Animals Speak... P is for Parrot. Parrots are very intelligent and are able to mimic sounds

Penny was a playful parrot with bright, colourful feathers and a very cheeky personality. She lived in a tropical rainforest with all of her parrot friends. Penny loved to make everyone laugh, but sometimes her games would turn into perfect pranks. She was very clever, and she liked to use her talent for copying sounds to cause some harmless mischief.

Oliver was an outgoing octopus who lived in a colorful ocean reef. He had big, curious eyes, eight long arms, and the ability to change color to show his mood. Oliver loved to swim, explore, and make new friends. He thought the ocean was the most magical place, and he wanted to make it even better.

Where the Animals Speak... N is for Nightingale. Nightingales are known for their beautiful singing at night

Nelly was a noble nightingale with a voice as clear as a silver bell. She lived in a quiet forest, where she would sing beautiful songs every night. Her notes were so gentle, they made all the forest animals feel calm and peaceful. She thought that her music was needed, so that all the other animals could sleep well at night.

Half Way through Book 1 and a Hidden Story

Hi, this is Chris again, Wow, we are now half way through Book 1 and I am so pleased with the stories so far. I’m also so happy with how Hope has been reading the stories that I’m asking her if she will do the rest of the Book.

I do plan, though, to ask others to read the stories in Books 2 and 3.

But what has surprised me is that I found out that all the animals so far have actually gotten together to collaborate on an amazing project without my knowledge. So here it is, a story that will only appear here and will not be in the actual books.

M: Millie the Marvelous Mouse's Mountain Mission

Where the Animals Speak... M is for Mouse. Mice are very good climbers

Millie was a marvelous mouse who lived at the bottom of a very big mountain. She was small, but she had a big heart and a very adventurous spirit. Millie loved to explore, and she dreamt of reaching the very top of the tall mountain. She wanted to see what the world looked like from above and prove to herself that she was brave enough to climb.

L: Leo the Lively Lion's Lullaby Lesson

Where the Animals Speak... L is for Lion. Lions are social and live together in groups called prides

Leo was a lively lion who lived in a large grassy plain with his pride. He had a big, golden mane and a very playful spirit. Unlike the other lions, Leo didn’t enjoy roaring. Instead, he loved to sing and hum gentle melodies. He knew that the animals loved his music, and he loved to make them all feel sleepy.

Where the Animals Speak... K is for Kangaroo. Kangaroos can jump very high with their strong legs

Katie was a kind kangaroo who lived in a vast, open land. She had a big pouch where she carried all sorts of treasures. She was known for her amazing jumps and her caring heart. She loved to help others and always made sure everyone felt safe.

Where the Animals Speak... J is for Jackal. Jackals are canids and can adapt to many different environments

Jasper was a joyful jackal who lived in a vibrant jungle. He had bright, curious eyes and a spring in his step. Jasper loved to laugh, dance, and bring happiness to all the animals around him. I'm Chris Smith, and I am absolutely delighted to be your host as we embark on a truly magical journey through our three very special books.
