This Is Temporary

What do you do when following Jesus gets costly?

As we continue walking through 1 Peter, we’re reminded that persecution, pressure, rejection, and suffering have always been part of the story of God’s people—but they never get the final word.

Peter writes to believers who are scattered, misunderstood, and facing real opposition, yet he keeps pointing them beyond what they’re experiencing to what God has promised. The pressure may be real, but it’s temporary. The opposition may be loud, but it’s temporary. The suffering may hurt, but this is temporary.
