Supervox + other circle 004: Esben Weile Kjær

Danish artist Esben Weile Kjær traces a path from Aarhus punk and squatting culture to DJing, and explains why he treats images the way DJs treat tracks.

He talks about where punk and pop collide in Hardcore Freedom at Copenhagen Contemporary, along with brutalism, stained glass as early light spectacles and curating Butterfly at ARKEN.

For our ongoing podcast series, made in collaboration with SUPERVOX, we talk to creatives about their practice. All episodes are recorded at other circle in 2026.

Episode 004 is hosted by Richard Feigin.
