James Batson

Creativity through the lens of a Pilot

James  Batson is originally from Chicago IL, but grew up in Portland OR. He graduated from Portland State University with a bachelor’s degree majoring in Japanese, and went on to become a pilot. He is now First Officer Pilot with United Airlines flying the Boeing 737. James volunteers with OBAP (Organization of Black Aerospace Professional) and APIS (Aerospace Professional in Schools) and is passionate about giving back and inspiring the future generation.
