Creativity through the lens of a Dance/Movement Therapist
Kellyn is a creative person living in mid-Michigan with her partner Chris and beloved Amstaff Terrier, Frida. She is one of thirteen Dance/Movement Therapists practicing in the state, and currently works with groups and individuals experiencing mental health crises in inpatient psychiatry. Kellyn is also an Instructor of Dance at Michigan State University. She is dedicated to expanding our notions of what it is to dance and is interested in exploring what happens when people are invited to dance, not in studios or on stages, but in hospitals, prisons, schools, shelters, office buildings, and around the kitchen table.
