David Byrne and St Vincent's songs that bring them together

After collaborating together on an album called Love This Giant, Zan asked DB and StV to collaborate on a playlist when they came in Take 5 in early 2013. They shared five songs that bring them together and a common theme runs throughout; the songs are all by artists who they saw live as they were becoming friends as they set about making music with one another.
