کیومرث یا گیومرث در فارسی، گیومرت یا گیومرد[۱] در پهلوی، گَیومَرَتَن در اوستایی نام نخستین نمونهٔ انسان در جهانشناسی مزدیسنا و نخستین شاه ایران در شاهنامه است. گیومرث در زبان اوستایی از دو جز گَیو (به معنی زندگانی) و مَرَتَن (به معنی میرنده یا فناپذیر) تشکیل یافتهاست. Keyumars or Kiomars (Persian: کیومرث) was the name of the first king (shah) of the Pishdadian dynasty of Iran according to the Shahnameh.
