I was joined by Craig today for the firts time, it turns out I upset him a few days ago but we cleared that up and he chose #75. Blossom joined me after that for #80 and Dr. Rao and Loyce came up to say hello because I had a hard stop today.
#75 "There Needs to be a Purpose"
People are starved for purpose because everything they do is taxed.
That being so, why would they venture to do anything?
By being intrusive governments corral their people
Forcing them to “Make a Living,” instead of simply living.
People have no purpose when their purpose is appointed.
Without purpose, why would they want to live?
All of this is intrusive meddling
It robs people of their lives and
Lines the pockets of those in authority.
#80 "What’s Important"
When there are diminished options
People are content by being creative.
They never dwell on fear or regret,
Nor do they get caught up in engaging novel things.
Sure, they have ways to get around
However, there is no interest in going anywhere.
They have access to weapons
However, they have no occasion to use them.
They enjoy their simple food,
Their plain clothes, and gardens,
Their humble homes and common customs.
They spend time with neighbors and family.
They hear stories of the city and its opportunities
But are content to die of old age having never seen it.
