TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ NOT OPERATED Since 2007, Berlin-based artist Not Operated ( formerly Erta Ale, aka DJ Fresh ) has been a prolific force in the techno scene. He has released a wide range of music under various aliases on his own labels, Solenoid Records and S-Limited, as well as on respected labels like Twirl, Exploited, The Hindie Corporation ( Bogotá ) and Bullfinch, among others. He has brought his sound to renowned venues such as About Blank, OXI, and Renate in Berlin; AND Club and Modular in South Africa; Radion and Church in Amsterdam; Micro in Sofia to name just a few. He has also appeared frequently on influential radio platforms including HÖR Radio, Red Light Radio ( Amsterdam ) and Rinse FM. With his "Not Operated" project, he emphasises DAWless live techno performances, relying on an "everything from scratch" philosophy. This approach drives the raw energy and spontaneity that define his exhilarating live shows, where unpredictability and adrenaline take center stage.
