Beginning as a passion for the harder shades of techno music, Quail [ Animal Farm ] was born into the Glasgow clubbing scene 14 years ago. The now established clubbing institution found its big break by hosting their very first Sub Club event in 2009, booking a then little-known artist on a Monday night, Ben Klock. This inaugural event was a wild success, which laid the groundwork for a steady succession of events catapulting the Animal Farm brand into the global techno limelight, booking acts such as Rodhad, Kobosil, Cleric, Blawan, DVS1 Function, Marcell Dettmann, and Dax J, just to name a few from their extensive archive of past performers. At the helm of this wild success has been Quail, who has supported swathes of the global techno elite, and more than carved out his own space as a respected DJ in his home city and much further afield.
