The SharePoint FAQ web part just got quieter about inventing the answers for you — not broken, not removed. AI-assisted FAQ create and import is moving to Copilot in SharePoint. Manual create and edit stay. Existing FAQs keep rendering. No migration.
That’s Message Center MC1476319 (rollout late Oct–early Nov 2026, Worldwide + GCC). Plus two shorter beats: Roadmap 516044 — Copilot uses library column metadata for sharper scoped answers — and Roadmap 480725 — AI citations analytics so you can see which docs and pages Copilot actually leaned on.
The clever bits are leaving the control. Copilot sits beside SharePoint authoring and retrieval.
