BILL GLASS: Behind Progressive's Famous Mustache

Get ready for an incredibly fun and insightful episode as we sit down with the hilariously talented Bill Glass, the actor behind one of the most recognizable faces, and fake mustaches, on television as Progressive's legendary "Dr. Rick"!

In this conversation, Bill takes us back to his Chicago roots and shares his journey from high school class clown who stumbled into improv to a true "lunch pail actor" who has spent 26 years building a successful career in Los Angeles. He also opens up about landing a recurring role alongside Ed Helms on Mike Schur's Rutherford Falls, and developing his "one for them, one for me" approach to auditioning. Bill gets real about navigating the politics of Hollywood, using improv to save the day on set, and why actors can't afford to sit around waiting for the traditional system to give them permission to work. Tune in for an inside look at how a series of intense auditions ultimately led to a life-changing "unicorn" commercial campaign and why Bill never treats a one-off role like it's just a one-off.
