Despite being afflicted with a case of dengue fever (or maybe just a cold) his children brought home from school, journalist and author Marc Masters found his inner resolve and brought this marvelous album to our show. "Charmed Life" is at Half Jap's tipping point between their raw and noisy roots and their (also) raw pop sensibilities. No monkeys were harmed in the making of this recording.
