This week's guest, guitarist Russell Mofsky, is a bit of a musical enigma. Co-founder of beloved South Florida punk band Quit and leader/creator of Surf/Lounge/Noir combo Gold Dust Lounge, Russel is a music-school geek who thinks like a poet. It's only fitting they he chose to discuss the dark, foreboding debut release by Canadian post-rock collective Godspeed You! Black Emperor, "F#A#∞" We do our best to dig into this expansive "soundtrack to the apocalypse", and the episode ends with an improvised in-studio jam with Russell and our own Barry Stock.
