Magnus fallen unconscious from his own dark magic that corrupted his body and mind is rushed back to Deepmire in hopes that Ulat will have a cure. Just before death takes him, he's saved by the old hermit's concoctions, but something is different. The roots don't completely fall away, nor the fungi, and with a loud CRACK, Magnus stands taller than ever before, his head brushing the top of the tent, his head that begins to grow what appears to be bark.
