DOPE OR NOPE: Why can't we all have the UK version of the new Pringles brand?

"Don't play with your food" is what we've been told - but Pringles Chips (or Crisps) were meant to be played with, from their shape to their packaging. Now the brand and icon is fun and playful, but not globally equal - what gives?
