Arsenal suffer their second defeat of the season against an Everton side who played its first game under Sean Dyche. The new manager bounce came to light as Dyches two former Burnley players McNeil and Tarkowski were the result of a well worked corner which saw them secure the 3 points in front of a raucous Everton crowd. Despite the brilliant Dyche setup and overall desire to win the game, Arsenal had their handful of opportunities and periods of the game where they maybe could have been better. The response to last weekends FA Cup defeat to Manchester City wasn’t the one Arteta would have hoped for but they still find themselves 5 points clear and another opportunity to get back on track when they welcome Brentford at the Emirates.
